Blue Monk is a software development company that helps garment decorators using DTG and DTF automate their production. We do this through two named offerings: DecoMonk (our flagship product — the operating system for the on-demand print floor) and AI Agent Deployment (a packaged engagement that audits your operations and Shopify stack, then ships AI agents to take work off your team). Same outcome — production that runs itself — through different surfaces.
DecoMonk is the operating system for on-demand DTG and DTF print production. Print queue to packed shipment, gang-sheet native, decoration-method aware, real-time Shopify sync. It runs in production at Threadheads — a multi-location, eight-figure DTG/DTF apparel operation — and is sold to other garment decorators on a subscription scaled to monthly order volume. Demo-only, no self-serve checkout.
A packaged engagement with three components: an operations audit (end-to-end review from order to fulfilment), a Shopify stack audit (every app, integration, and webhook reviewed), and AI agent integration (we actually build and ship the agents that come out of the audits). It’s the way most decorators take their first step toward automation. Some operators stay on AI Agent Deployment indefinitely; others move onto DecoMonk once the audits surface the case for the operating system.
Garment decorators using DTG and DTF — primarily on-demand 3PL print centers and brands running their own in-house print at volume. Our floor for both offerings is around 5,000 orders per month: below that, the unit economics don’t work for either side. If you’re below 5k but on a credible path to it within 12 months, talk to us — we sometimes take on operators ahead of the curve. Geographic priority is US, EU, AU, and Canada.
DecoMonk: subscription, scaled to monthly order volume — $500/month at 5,000 orders (10c per order), scales linearly through the mid-range, ~$5,000/month at 100k+ orders after volume discount. AI Agent Deployment: scoped per engagement, fixed price across the three components, with optional ongoing support after the agents are live. We give you the number on the call, not after three follow-ups.
It depends on scope. DecoMonk onboarding usually runs 4–8 weeks from kick-off to floor-live, including data migration, integrations, and floor training. AI Agent Deployment runs 4–10 weeks across the three components, depending on stack complexity and how many agents we’re shipping. We’ll give you a real timeline on the discovery call once we’ve seen what we’re dealing with.
DecoMonk is Shopify-native — App Bridge, real-time sync, Shopify Functions where they earn it. AI Agent Deployment is Shopify-shaped because that’s where most of our work has shipped, but the operations audit and the AI integration work apply to non-Shopify stacks too. We’ll tell you on the call if your stack is too far off-piste for us to help.
